I am in Product Management in the middle or maybe at the end of a many years career in EdTech. I have built products that have served millions of users and hopefully helped them learn. I come from a family of educators, and I care deeply about learning, fairness, brains. I am a bit of a nerd. I am also a mom, and I worry about the future of the planet, the future of democracy, the future of our brains while we let the tech bros take over our brain space unregulated.

This blog (is that an old-fashioned name now?) is going to focus mostly on my journey through the rise of AI. Like everybody else, I am being forced to use these tools at work for better or for worse, and I am interested in chronicling that journey as I suspect it will change a lot over time. I am starting as a skeptic. I am sure there are good ways we can use these tools, but I think it will take a while to learn what those are.

I am going to write every word on these posts myself with zero help from AI. If I quote or use AI, I will explicitly call it out.
